This year I've decided to try two new things. I will be doing all of my Inktober illustrations on ACEO size cards instead of full size drawing paper. Hopefully this means I can keep up with both the art challenge AND my other art projects, including some commissions I need to be working on. Besides, the mini art is a challenge.
Secondly, I'm just not feeling the official prompt list for this year. Last year, trying to follow the prompts really slowed me down. Instead of giving me ideas, it completely locked up my inspiration on some days. So this year I'm going to go my own way and just draw by mood unless its a really good daily prompt. (I will probably be doing "chicken" and "whale" for sure. ) About today's piece: Title: Woman in Yellow Materials: Ink on cardstock Size: 2.5" x 3.5" Don't forget to follow me on Instagram or follow my Facebook page to see these before they appear on the blog! Cheers, and good luck if you are doing Inktober 2018 too! |
