Are ACEO cards still a thing? I don't see art cards very much anymore. Or at least not many that are drawn. I still see ones made with collage. However that doesn't mean drawn or painted cards aren't still cool to make. And I have sold several over the years, there must be people who still like them.
Drawing ACEO cards has become one of my favorite ways to get out of artistic dry spells. The small size is just, you know...doable.
Miniature drawings don't overwhelm you with vast empty spaces to fill. Plus it is completely okay for the art not be extremely detailed or realistic. For this reason alone, they let you be free and fun with your art, letting go of expectations for a short time. Little drawings aren't judging you! Haha.
Other great reasons to draw on art cards:
As for this card, it was simply done for the fun of it, and Ive done some others that go with it in a sort of series, all related to "made up " problems. Like for example, this little farmer has a problem with sharks nearby while he takes a walk under the ocean.
There really isn't any deeper meaning than that. I just wanted to talk a little about ACEO cards. Note: links below are affiliate links and I may earn a commission if you purchase through my links.Read disclosure here. Materials Used:
